What to Pack for your Caravan Getaway

This summer we are off to the Silloth which is only a 40-minute drive to the Lake District.  Silloth is well-known for its refreshing climate, and peaceful atmosphere. With wonderful sea views and acres of grassy open space for the kids to run around freely.

If you are looking to take a break this year to escape from everyday life you are welcome to join us, please check out our Halal UK Packages. We have a full itinerary which we have personally put together for you and your family to ensure you have an eventful halal holiday experience.

Packing and Preparations

Because we want to make sure your stay with us goes as smoothly as possible we have put together this personal checklist of essential items. Don’t make your packing any harder than it has to be by overloading with stuff you don’t need.

Also, you can Sign up to also receive our monthly newsletter which contains articles, resources, deals and special offers, so don’t miss out.

Don’t overdo it; just bring the essentials, consider only taking what you need. There is a launderette on site, but if you’re anything like me, I normally bring a large laundry bag and take all my washing home. I would rather spend my break enjoying the beautiful scenery, but the option is there if you need the laundry facilities so consider bringing some laundry tablets.

  • Lots of towels
  • Trainers

The caravans are equipped with all the equipment to make your meals.  Therefore, If you don’t want the fuss of cooking you can have all your halal meals prepared for you. Furthermore, we offer a pre-order service, just contact us for further details.

This pretty much covers it, I think. I’d add a few things, and replace a few. But one thing got me perplexed: Squash?!

    • lol, It’s a cordial drink which you add water to, it goes a long way espeically if you have kids. We call is squash in the UK.
